Job Summary

We are hiring for the role of Project Site Planner for a leading Building Construction company in Nigeria. As a Project Site Planner / Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and controlling project schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of construction projects. The role involves close coordination with project managers, site engineers, subcontractors, and procurement teams to track progress, identify delays, and implement corrective actions.

  • Develop detailed project schedules and work programs using planning software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
  • Prepare baseline schedules, work breakdown structures (WBS), and resource loading plans for construction projects.
  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly project progress against planned schedules.
  • Prepare and update progress reports, look-ahead schedules, and recovery plans.
  • Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and procurement teams to ensure alignment with project timelines.
  • Analyze schedule variances, delays, and risks, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support project managers in budget monitoring and resource planning.
  • Track and report project milestones, deliverables, and critical path activities.
  • Assist in preparation of tender schedules, project planning documentation, and claims analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, safety regulations, and project requirements.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in construction project planning or scheduling.
  • Experience working on building construction, preferably High rise buildings.
