This role involves timely movement of personnel and materials, maintaining assigned vehicles, and ensuring effective delivery and distribution processes.
Responsibilities
- Ensure proper handling and documentation of items being transported
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure regular servicing and maintenance schedules are followed
- Keep accurate records of trips, fuel usage, and maintenance activities
- Safely transport staff, and goods to designated locations as required
- Ensure compliance with traffic laws and organizational transport policies
- Adhere to assigned schedules and demonstrate flexibility when required
- Report any accidents, delays, or vehicle issues promptly.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess an SSCE/OND qualification with 2 - 4 years driving experience, preferably in a corporate or structured environment
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Good knowledge of road networks and routes
- Basic understanding of logistics and inventory handling
- Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and reliability
- Professional attitude and good interpersonal conduct
- Candidate must reside in Abuja
